The Northern Counties is a hot bed for rink hockey. From Middlesbrough to Manchester you will not be far from a club and every one of them lends kit to beginners so a first session costs nothing.

New clubs start with a hall, a handful of skaters and a borrowed set of goals. The association helps with equipment, insurance and coaching.

Never played before?

Clubs lend skates, sticks and protective kit for your first sessions. Turn up in comfortable clothes with a water bottle and that is all you need.
