Check with the club before your first visit. Times can move during school holidays.
First visit
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Clubs lend skates, sticks and protective kit for your first sessions. Under 18s need a parent or carer to stay for the first visit.
03About the club
Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club was first formed in 1947 and has developed many skilled skaters and goalkeepers over the years. The club has male and female skaters of all ages competing at local, regional, national and international events.
With teams from under 9 right through to the Premier League and the Female Premier League, the emphasis is on having fun while learning. The friendships you make at roller hockey can last a lifetime.
The club trains at Middlesbrough Sports Village, where it is lucky enough to have one of only two full size rinks in the country. Children and adults of any age are welcome to come down and see what it is all about. Equipment can be loaned and the first three sessions are free.
