Check with the club before your first visit. Times can move during school holidays.
First visit
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Clubs lend skates, sticks and protective kit for your first sessions. Under 18s need a parent or carer to stay for the first visit.
03About the club
Manchester Roller Hockey Club has teams of all ages, from minors to seniors. Rink hockey is played on quad skates with a curved stick and a ball. It is not the same sport as street or in line hockey and it is a good deal faster.
The club is open to all ages from five years upwards. You are welcome to come along and join one of the training sessions and the club can lend you equipment to have a go with. Manchester runs teams in local, regional and national competitions and also plays teams from abroad, both at home and away.
As a proud member of England Roller Hockey and the Northern Counties Rink Hockey Association, the club adheres to the highest standards of the sport and contributes to its development nationwide.
